The rumors about Giannis Antetokounmpo's future are heating up, with several teams floated as possible destinations for the Milwaukee Bucks star. The Miami Heat are reportedly in a position to offer the Bucks an attractive package for the two-time NBA MVP.According to Forbes' Evan Sidery on Saturday, the Heat could offer Milwaukee-native Tyler Herro and big man Kel'el Ware in trade talks. Sidery also noted that Heat star Bam Adebayo and Antetokounmpo are both represented by Alex Saratsis.ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Wednesday that Saratsis has engaged the Bucks front office about Antetokounmpo's future with the team. A resolution on whether the superstar will move on from the team that drafted him is expected in the coming weeks. Adebayo and Antetokounmpo sharing the same agent could be key in trade discussions. On Friday, NBA insider Jake Fischer said Antetokounmpo joining the Heat would "make sense" because of what they could offer."Hometown kid in Herro, Ware, Jaime (Jaquez), draft picks," Fischer wrote. "The Heat have been withholding their full offer they could’ve used for Dame, KD, knowing someone such as Giannis could reach the market. That to me is a super interesting outcome that could happen."In a recent episode of his podcast, league insider Zach Lowe said Miami could be considered a frontrunner in the Giannis Antetokounmpo sweepstakes, as it can include two first-round picks and pick swaps. However, Lowe said that the Heat would have to include Ware, "a future potential All-Star," in any trade conversations.Analyst proposes a trade package for Giannis AntetokounmpoSports analyst Bill Simmons said a couple of league sources have indicated that Giannis Antetokounmpo's potential trade to the Miami Heat is gaining traction. In Friday's episode of his podcast, Simmons proposed a trade package that he thinks would benefit both teams. The Heat would get the Antetokounmpo brothers in exchange for Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Andrew Wiggins and multiple picks."Herro, I’m getting top 45 guy in league who can get 25 a night," Simmons said. "I'm getting a really good young center... and then I'm just getting a bunch of picks and then the tradeable contract of Wiggins."While the Heat would give up some depth in acquiring Antetokounmpo, they would still have an above-average supporting cast behind the 2021 NBA Finals MVP. Three-time NBA All-Star Bam Adebayo would be the second option, while Norman Powell and Davion Mitchell would form a solid backcourt duo.For the Bucks, they could build around Herro and Ware or flip the young players in exchange for more draft capital.Other teams floated as Giannis Antetokounmpo's possible destinations are the New York Knicks, San Antonio Spurs and LA Lakers.
