NBA insider Chris Haynes has seemingly shared the truth behind Giannis Antetokounmpo’s social media activity. The Milwaukee Bucks superstar’s social media wipe has been a telling sign for fans, who await a decision on his uncertain future with the team.

His decision to remove the Bucks from his social media profiles has only added to the noise. However, according to Haynes, the move has nothing to do with his situation with the team.

"He did that around three or four weeks ago… He referred to an interview that he saw with Michael B. Jordan and Denzel Washington."

In the interview being referred to, Denzel Washington advised Michael B. Jordan to limit his presence on social media. Haynes further explained Antetokounmpo’s thinking behind the wipe:

“He said, 'I’m only leaving a couple of championship photos out there… If people want to see me, come to the games, and I’ll give you all of me and showcase what I can do.' That’s his mentality.”

According to Haynes' explanation, Giannis Antetokounmpo's social media wipe has more to do with him wanting to limit his social media presence as opposed to a signal regarding his future with the Bucks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is sidelined for two to four weeks with a calf injury

The Milwaukee Bucks cannot seem to catch a break as Giannis Antetokounmpo is set to miss up to four weeks with a right calf strain. The star forward suffered the injury during the first few minutes of Wednesday's 113-109 victory against the Detroit Pistons.

“Let’s hope he’s back sooner, but I’m going to guess it’s more in the four-week range,” Rivers said on Friday.

Antetokounmpo is averaging 28.9 points, 10.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game, shooting 63.9% this season. Despite his stellar play, the Bucks (10-14) are 10th in the Eastern Conference, eight and a half games behind the Pistons (18-5) in first.

The team will need a stellar effort from Ryan Rollins while Antetokounmpo recovers. He has been solid this season, averaging 17.8 ppg and 6.0 apg. Kevin Porter Jr. has also been productive since his return from injury, recording 19.8 ppg and 5.8 apg.

The Bucks will return to action on Saturday against the Pistons.
