Without Antetokounmpo, the Bucks have lost their previous four games, currently riding a six-game losing streak. The recent slump has pushed Milwaukee into 11th place in the East with an 8-11 record. The Bucks are in desperate need of their two-time MVP to mark his comeback and steady the ship.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was earlier listed as questionable but was declared fit to play ahead of Friday's game. Earlier, Milwaukee coach Doc Rivers provided an update on the Greek superstar after the 106-103 loss against the Miami Heat on Wednesday, which hinted at Antetokounmpo's comeback sooner rather than later.

"No. I was not in favor (of him playing)," Rivers said, as quoted by Eric Nehm. "I was very happy we decided what we decided. I was very uncomfortable with it. He really wanted to push and that’s who Giannis is. I was very happy with our medical team today. They decided at the end of the day, let’s wait."
