The initiative will open four new Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinics, providing quality healthcare facilities to people in North Carolina."The gift advances research and innovation in brain health, making state-of-the-art neurological care more accessible across southeastern North Carolina," the medical center said in a statement.The donation will help develop "comprehensive programs for stroke, spine treatment, Alzheimer's diagnosis, Parkinson's disease" to help the patients. It will also help in making "neurological care" more accessible to people throughout southeastern North Carolina.Michael Jordan donated the money to the Novant Health Foundation. With the new $10 million donation, Jordan has now donated a total of $27 million to the foundation.
