The LA Lakers survived a second-half onslaught from the Miami Heat to hold on for a 130-120 win on Sunday. Luka Doncic led the way for the Lakers, finishing with 29 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and three steals. Austin Reaves had 26 points, four rebounds and 11 assists. Apart from his early fourth-quarter defensive lapse, Jaxson Hayes had 15 points and five rebounds on a perfect 7-for-7 from the field. Rui Hachimura also scored 15 points, while Jake LaRavia was huge off the bench. LaRavia contributed 25 points, eight rebounds, three assists and four steals. On the other hand, Jaime Jaquez Jr. continued his torrid start to the campaign. He had a game-high 31 points off the bench. Bam Adebayo and Pelle Larsson each scored 17 points, while Andrew Wiggins added 15 points and nine rebounds.
