Hip-Hop music magazine, 'The Source', shared a post on Instagram highlighting the rapper's claims. During a livestream, Megan Thee Stallion reportedly opened up about the online hate she’s faced, claiming much of it comes from “paid bots and fake accounts.”

"These are bots, these are paid people,” she reportedly said. “You’ll see a man tweeting about sports for eight years, and suddenly he just hates Megan Thee Stallion.”

According to the artist, the hate comments coincide with the release of her new single, "Lover Girl," claiming the negativity rises to the forefront during the release of her music.

She noted that the negativity often overshadows her work, but despite the noise, Stallion has remained resilient, urging her fans to do the same while offering a quick shoutout to her "man," Klay Thompson.

"Stop listening to them," the rapper urged her fans. "I’ll be in the house with my man, my dogs, watching anime, at the studio."

The former NBA champion offered friendly advice to Thompson during the Mavs' final preseason game against the Lakers as Megan Thee Stallion made a courtside appearance.

"Ay, Klay," Perkins said. "Those Texas women, man, they somethin' else! Watch their spaghetti and catfish, I know."

Despite the warning, Thompson has become a fan of Stallion's cooking. In August, the artist revealed that the former Warriors star "keeps asking" for "spaghetti and catfish" ever since they started dating.
