Luka Doncic made a shocking confession on Monday after the LA Lakers' seven-game winning streak eneded against the Phoenix Suns on Monday. His words were seen as a clear message to the Lakers' next opponent, the Toronto Raptors. When asked about the Raptors matchp on Thursday, Doncic said he doesn't follow the league outside the court, but is aware of the impact of Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic."Honestly, I'm not watching much of the NBA, I'm sorry," Doncic said. "I know what kind of record they (the Raptors) have, what kind of coach they have, I love him, and I know he's making them play physical basketball.”The Suns left the Crypto.com Arena with a 125-108 win, despite Luka Doncic’s 38 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. He took responsibility for the loss, attributing it to his nine turnovers as well as his confusion over the Suns’ defensive strategy.“Yeah, that was my fault,” Doncic said, via Spectrum SportsNet. “No way I can have nine turnovers in the game. So in that second quarter… they were giving me the shots. Instead of shooting the ball, I feel like I was trying to get (everybody) involved. But there’s no way I should have nine turnovers.”The Lakers (15-5), travel to face the Raptors in the first of three road trips. Doncic will hope for a better outing against the red-hot Raptors (14-7).Luka Doncic wins Western Conference Player of the WeekLuka Doncic won his first Conference Player of the Week as a Lakers player for games played from Thursday through Sunday.
