LeBron James opens up about playing alongside Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves

LeBron James missed the start of the season for the first time in his 23-year career. In the absence of the Lakers' superstar, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves proved their worth, winning games for the team without James in the lineup.

Before James returned to the lineup, there were speculations about his fit on one of the hottest teams in the league. The four-time NBA champion returned and fit right in, strategically deferring to Reaves and Doncic on the offense, and it has paid off well for the team.

"I mean, those guys have so many eyes on them. They're our primary ball handlers, so they have many eyes on them, James said after the win against the LA Clippers. "They run a lot of our pick-and-roll offense, so a lot of times they put two on a ball, AR handles the ball, Luka handles the ball so its a numbers game."

With Reaves and Doncic taking over ball handling, it could prove beneficial for both LeBron James and the Lakers. A less tired James could prove to be useful in the playoffs.
