In his 23 years in the NBA, LeBron James has given so many epic performances. From the legacy-saving Game 6 against the Boston Celtics in 2012 to the 50-point performance against the Golden State Warriors in the 2018 NBA Finals, James' legacy has been an utter display of greatness when it mattered the most. But there is just one game where the LA Lakers star felt invincible.
During Tuesday's "Mind The Game" podcast, Steve Nash read a fan's question about the time they were in the zone. Before the four-time NBA champion could answer, Nash picked Game 5 of the 2007 Cleveland Cavaliers vs the Detroit Pistons Eastern Conference Finals series.
LeBron James agreed with the pick and said that he felt like he had possessed special power in that game. The Lakers star tried his best to explain the experience of being in the zone.
"I had this Bruce Leeroy glow feeling around me that night that I could not even explain," he said. "I was taking shots that either I had worked on, but I didn't log enough hours with some of those shots."

"That's the best way I could describe it. I was in a zone and when if you ask anybody about what if what it does it feels to be like in a zone, it's the most unexplainable thing. You can't explain it. You just can't.
"I just had a feeling. Like it's hard to explain," James added. "You just feel a connection to the ball, the floor, the net, the bucket, everything, the game. Like, it's just crazy confidence overcomes you." (Timestamp 29:58)
In May 2007, with the ECF series tied at 2-2 against the Pistons, 22-year-old LeBron James delivered a performance for the history books. In a double overtime win, James scored 25 consecutive points for his team, including 29 of the last 30 points.
LeBron James picks one basketball skill he would take from Steve Nash
Steve Nash is one of the greatest point guards in NBA history. The Hall of Fame player was primarily known for his playmaking and was at the center of the Phoenix Suns' revolutionary seven seconds or less rule on offense.
Nash didn't have bags like Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson on the offense, but he had one move that made a lasting impression on LeBron James. During the podcast, answering a fan's question, James made his pick for one move from Nash's offense.
"Definitely your hesi pull for sure, off the bounce, how efficient you was," James said. "No matter right hand, left hand, like just you was so fluent with this hesi getting right to the pocket. Yeah, it would be the ball handling with the hesi pool for sure." (Timestamp 22:38)
Steve Nash mastered the hesi pull, characterized by hesi dribble, stop, and then starting a dribble drive. Nash would then suddenly gather the ball and shoot in his defender's face.
