Kiyan Anthony's mother, La La Anthony, couldn't be prouder of her son after his latest achievement. On Sunday, the Hollywood actress, mother of the Syracuse star, made a social media post dedicated to her son joining the Jordan Brand's newest NIL roster.

La La posted the Jordan Brand video featuring Kiyan and his NBA legend father, Carmelo Anthony. The former New York Knicks star, who has been one of the leading faces of Jordan Brand even after his retirement, narrated in the background, while the video documented the close connection between the son and the father.

"Yo Kiy, you've been watchin' the whole time, takin’ notes. It's in your DNA. You don't inherit that spotlight, you claim it. My legacy is in you. Welcome to the family," Carmelo narrated in the promotional video for the Jordan Brand.

The video also showed clips from Kiyan Anthony's childhood, practicing and studying the game with his father. La La reacted to the video with his wholesome message for her son.

"Kiyan is officially locked in with the Jordan family 🐐🔥 So proud of you @kiyananthony for staying down, doing the work, and walking into these blessings✨ Keep shining..you earned this one 🏀LOVE YOU!!!" La La wrote in the caption.

In his second game in the Syracuse jersey, Kiyan Anthony displayed maturity. After a season-high 19-point outing in a blowout 83-43 win against Delaware State, Anthony admitted that he had to work in a particular area of his game.

"Little things, shots I could have made that I missed. Free-throws, I missed three free-throws, that's unacceptable," Anthony said during the postgame interview. "So I just got to get in the gym after, shoot some free-throws, and fix the little things."

He made just one of his four free-throw attempts in the game. La La was proud of her son's self-awareness and his will to improve his game. She reposted the post on her Instagram Story, captioning it with a proud message.

Kiyan Anthony started his freshman season coming off the bench. Since then, he has been upgraded to Syracuse's starting lineup, and he hasn't been a disappointment at all. Kiyan has thrived in his new role and continues to show his elite offensive game.
