The Warriors' starters showed no signs of fatigue and came out of the gates clicking on all cylinders. Steph Curry and Jonathan Kuminga led the charge with their efficient scoring, while every starter made at least one 3-pointer in the opening period. As a result, the Warriors jumped to a 33-25 lead at the end of the first quarter.

The Clippers picked up the slack in the second quarter, with James Harden and Kawhi Leonard increasing their intensity and urgency. On the back of the duo's savvy display, the Clippers turned an eight-point first-quarter deficit into a three-point lead at half time. Harden had 20 points and Leonard added 10 points as the Clippers entered the break with a 49-46 lead.

The Warriors flexed their might after the halftime break, and the Clippers capitulated in a hostile environment. Curry, Butler and Brandin Podziemski did the heavy lifting on offense as the Warriors scored 32 points in the third quarter.

The Clippers offense was completely stifled by a suffocating Warriors defense as the visitors could manage just 13 points in the period. Golden State entered the final quarter firmly in control, leading 78-63.

The Warriors gave their opponent no hope for a comeback by dominating the fourth quarter as well. The Dubs turned the contest into a blowout and recorded a fantastic 98-79 win.
