Talks about Giannis Antetokounmpo's future have continued to dominate the headlines recently. On Tuesday, NBA insider Shams Charania reported that the rumors have already affected the Milwaukee Bucks' locker room. A subsequent report from Chris Haynes said that Antetokounmpo met with several of his teammates to address the noise surrounding his future with the team."I was told his point was he's here wanting to get better," Haynes said. "Wanting to make sure he gets his game back on point. Make sure he gets back from this injury. But he relayed the message that he can't control what goes on, or what even happens to him. Obviously, things are getting loud where he felt like he had to address some of his teammates."On Wednesday, Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma disputed the report that Antetokounmpo met with some of them."I don't really remember a time he met with us," Kuzma told CBS Sports' Jack Maloney after Wednesday's practice. "He didn't sit us down like the apprentice. It didn't go down like that."Rumors that Antetokounmpo might leave Milwaukee started last season following the team's third straight first-round exit. Charania reported over the summer that the Bucks have engaged the New York Knicks about a possible blockbuster trade for Antetokounmpo. However, no discussions have materialized.Milwaukee's rough start this season also did not help in squashing the chatter around its star. The Bucks are 10th in the Eastern Conference with a 10-15 record.Kevin Porter Jr. doubles down on Kyle Kuzma's claim that the latest Giannis Antetokounmpo report is falseIn addition to Kyle Kuzma, Milwaukee Bucks guard Kevin Porter Jr. has described Chris Haynes' report as "false information." According to NBA insider Jack Maloney, Porter attributed the several reports about Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Bucks' struggles."This is the last thing I'm gonna say about anything regarding false information," Porter said. "At the end of the day, everyone needs to wait until Giannis says something. Because all of this is just he say, she say, and I guarantee you when we start winning and go 8-0, 9-0, you won't see nothing about the Bucks."You won't see, 'Oh, the Bucks are 8-0, 9-0, they're flourishing and Giannis is. ... We're not gonna see that positive news. At least for me, this is the last time I'm going to answer anything false."Milwaukee is on a two-game losing skid and is just 2-8 in its previous 10 games. The Bucks next face the Boston Celtics on Thursday to start a stretch wherein six of their next nine games are on the road.
