Kyle Kuzma Hilariously Trolls Jaylen Brown for Egregious Lane Violation – “This Is Not a Stream”

Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma had a witty comment prepared for Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown during Thursday night's matchup between the two Eastern Conference teams.

Just over two minutes into the contest, Kuzma was fouled by Neemias Queta and went to the free-throw line for a pair of shots. He converted the first, but on his second attempt, which he missed, Brown overstepped while boxing out Bucks guard Gary Trent Jr., drawing a lane violation call.

Chuckling, Kuzma was heard on the broadcast telling Brown:

“This is not a stream.”

Kuzma knocked down the free throw, yet the Celtics held the upper hand in the first quarter, outscoring Milwaukee 35-29. Kuzma totaled 18 points in the first half in Giannis Antetokounmpo's absence, while Brown had 16 for Boston.

This season, Jaylen Brown has gained attention off the court for his streaming activities, though he recently clarified that it doesn’t interfere with his basketball focus. After Boston’s 126-105 victory over the LA Lakers last Friday, he was asked about balancing streaming with his season priorities.

“They think ‘cause I’m streaming, I’m not locked in,” he said (per Daniel Donabedian). “I’m the most locked I’ve ever been in my life. I promise y'all. I'm ready to win, I'm ready to lead. I’m ready to do whatever it takes to win. I want all the smoke -- I'm with everything.”

Brown is putting up career-best numbers this season, averaging 29.1 points per game on 49.6% shooting, along with 6.2 rebounds and a career-high 4.9 assists, as the Celtics have surged despite expectations of a rebuild with Jayson Tatum sidelined, currently riding a five-game winning streak and sitting at No. 3 in the East.

On Monday, Jaylen Brown earned Eastern Conference NBA Player of the Week honors for Week 7 of the 2025-26 season, posting 34.0 ppg, 6.7 rpg and 5.7 apg. It marked the fifth time in his career that he has received the award.

Following Thursday night’s clash with the Bucks, the Celtics are set to host two Eastern Conference playoff hopefuls: the Detroit Pistons on Monday and the Miami Heat next Friday.
