LeBron James made his season debut on Tuesday against the Utah Jazz after missing the first 14 games of the campaign due to sciatica. It's only been his first game, but he's already been accused of stat-padding by former No. 1 pick Kwame Brown.

On a recent episode of Brown's "Bust Life" vlog, Brown claimed that James was stat-padding in his first game of the season. "The King" finished with 11 points, three rebounds and 12 assists in nearly 30 minutes, as the LA Lakers earned a 140-126 win.

"Right now, he's got a lot of eyes watching him," Brown said. "So, of course, he's not going out there to shoot the ball. It still looked like he was playing for stats. He's playing to get assists and get his 10 points."

While Kwame Brown made his fair assessment, it's also fair to assume that LeBron James no longer has the same role he had last season. Luka Doncic finished the game with 37 points, five rebounds, 10 assists and four steals on 11-for-22 shooting.

James is the NBA's all-time leading scorer, but he's always been known for being a passer. He did shoot just seven times, though it's likely because Doncic is the No. 1 option on offense. Austin Reaves had 26 points and five rebounds, while Deandre Ayton added 20 points and 14 rebounds.

As long as the Lakers continue winning, James probably won't have a problem delegating most of the offense to Doncic and Reaves. They are currently fourth in the West with a record of 11-4 and have won eight of their last 10 games.

In addition to his season debut, LeBron James also set the record for most seasons played in NBA history with 23. James showed no signs of rust, though he wasn't as aggressive on offense.

Speaking to reporters after the win, "The King" was pleased with his performance, aside from feeling winded early as his body adjusted to the game's pace and rhythm.

"Wind was a little shaky to begin," James said, according to Silver Screen and Roll. "Obviously, that was expected, but as the game went on and on, my wind got a lot better. I caught my second wind, caught my third wind. Rhythm is still coming back, obviously, first game in almost seven months. Everything that happened tonight was as expected."

The Lakers have a few days off before their next game on Sunday against the Jazz, this time in Salt Lake City.
