The Sacramento Kings' fan, who heckled Zach LaVine on Wednesday, narrated the reason for his verbal altercation with the star guard.Internet personality Devlin Carter was ejected from the Golden 1 Center midway through the fourth quarter due to his verbal altercation with LaVine. At that point, the Kings were down by 16 (102-86) to the Phoenix Suns. They eventually lost 124-110 to fall to 5-14 this season.In a lengthy video uploaded on social media on Thursday, Carter narrated the rationale behind his spat with the Kings star."What happened is, after not 1, not 2, 3, 4, 5, but after the 6th time Zach LaVine leaves his man wide open for a three, Doug Christie calls a timeout, they come over to the bench," Carter said. "I say, 'Yo, we don't pay to watch you not play defense.' And Zach LaVine looks at me and says, 'Go home, get your a** home.' So, I start letting him have it."I was like, 'No, I paid to be here. You go home, you getting paid over $40 million, you only got eight points and we in the fourth quarter. You didn't show up. Once again, you didn't show up. According to him, Sacramento's fans "deserve better."Several videos of Carter's altercation with LaVine went viral on social media. Carter, who was near the Kings' bench, had to be restrained by the arena security as he expressed his frustrations. Even on his way out, Carter was shouting and pointing at Sacramento's bench.As of this writing, Carter has not received any further bans aside from the ejection. The NBA's fan code of conduct prohibits any form of heckling, including "abusive language or behavior that interferes with the game."Zach LaVine on Kings' effort: "We play as hard as we can"Following Wednesday's loss, Sacramento Kings star Zach LaVine expressed his frustration with his team's struggles. The two-time NBA All-Star had 13 points on 5-for-14 shooting in a losing effort.LaVine told reporters postgame that it was difficult to mount a comeback, especially after trailing by a huge margin early in the game. He was then asked if it was an effort or consistency issues."You guys can say all you want to about effort," LaVine said. "We play as hard as we can. We’re in here exhausted, so I don’t know. ... Guys are frustrated we’re not winning, guys are frustrated they’re not playing right, or playing in the way that would best suit them. ...
