Josh Giddey Soft Launches New Relationship With Mystery Girl In PDA-Filled Mirror Selfie

Josh Giddey is dating.

The Chicago Bulls player soft-launched his relationship through a social media post on Saturday. He posted a cozied-up picture on his Instagram Story holding his mystery girlfriend from behind as she clicked the mirror selfie.

The woman in question wore a pair of white trousers and paired them with a fur jacket. She also wore a fur bucket hat and hid her face in her boyfriend's arm. This is the first time that the NBA player has made his relationship public.

This major relationship update comes two years after Giddey, who then played for the OKC Thunder, made headlines for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with an underage girl. The league launched the investigation in November 2023 and closed it months later in May next year.

Josh Giddey is having his best NBA season with the Chicago Bulls. He is having a career year in all major categories. In 20 games this season, he is averaging 20.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, 9.1 assists and 1.o steals per game.

Josh Giddey confronts a heckling fan over "ped*" comment

Josh Giddey's controversial relationship with an underage girl attracted a lot of negative media attention towards the league. The controversy seems to be still haunting the Aussie player.

Two weeks ago, Giddey and the Chicago Bulls traveled to Charlotte for a road game. During the 4th quarter, the Bulls guard confronted a heckling fan on the sideline. According to an X post by Brick Center, the fan called Giddey a "ped*."

While the officials tried to de-escalate the situation, Giddey had some words for the heckler.

"You're making jokes you don't know sh*t about," he could be heard saying in a different video.

The security later escorted the heckler out of the arena.

In November 2023, a picture of Giddey with a girl surfaced on social media. The user claimed that the girl in the picture was a junior in high school. Newport Beach (Calif.) and the NBA launched the investigation into the matter.

Months later, the police closed the investigation because it was "unable to corroborate any criminal activity." According to ESPN, in January, police announced that they weren't going to pursue charges against Giddey. Months later, the NBA also closed the investigation on the same grounds.
