Jimmy Butler highlighted the reason behind the Golden State Warriors' struggles following their 129-104 blowout loss against the Denver Nuggets on Friday. The Warriors were without Steph Curry, who was ruled out of the game because of an illness. Golden State looked disoriented without its star guard, turning the ball over 12 times and struggling on defense. The Nuggets exploited the Warriors' weaknesses to secure an easy win. When a reporter asked Butler for the reason behind the loss, the Warriors star said the players needed to take responsibility, as Steve Kerr and his coaching staff have been nothing but brilliant."We have to do it, especially when Steph is out but even whenever he is in," Butler said. "I am not saying one person or two people everybody as a whole."We have some really smart basketball players. Obviously one of the greatest coaches ever, an incredible coaching staff, so you can't even pin the blame on them becasue they put us in a positiion to be hella succesful."Lastly, Butler said that the team needs to execute better and play hard.Jimmy Butler breaks down the defensive improvements needed in the Warriors' rosterJimmy Butler was also asked for his thoughts on the defensive breakdowns the Warriors have been facing in the last few games.
