While talking to the media, Harden fluttered her eyes before sharing the current state of the Clippers amid their slump. “Challenging...in every way," Harden said when asked about how the team integrates new talents into the rotation to start the season. He then said that the situation inside the team has been difficult to navigate. “I don’t know. I don’t know… Situation here is difficult," he added. Harden has been leading the Clippers, who are coached by Ty Lue, this season in scoring and assists, averaging 27.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.6 assists per game.His co-star Kawhi Leonard has only appeared in nine games, putting up 24.9 points and 5.0 rebounds. Meanwhile, center Ivica Zubac has been steady for the Clippers with averages of 16.2 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. The Clippers are currently in the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 5-15 record. They are riding a four-game losing streak. The Clippers are supposed to have a veteran-laden lineup this season, following the additions of Chris Paul and Bradley Beal, but the team has since dealt with numerous injuries, which resulted in the team's reliance on young players such as Jordan Miller and Kobe Sanders. "We’ve had so many different lineups, so many guys in and out of the rotation… Guys are all over the place. Some guys haven’t played in ever. Some guys are just put in the rotation.
