AD was playing his best basketball in a while when the Lakers traded him for Luka Doncic last season. Since then, the Mavericks star has struggled to stay healthy and lead his new team.

On Friday, a fan shared the video of Anthony Davis watching his former team walk away with a win on X, formerly Twitter. The fans flooded the post's comment section with their opinions on Davis's expression and the Mavericks' third straight loss.

"Do you blame him? He won the city a title and in the middle of the night while they were playing their best the traded him like he was nothing. They gave up on him when he gave them everything," another fan said.
"Watching your hommies all in form while you struggle is peak pain," another fan said.

One fan compared AD's situation to former Laker Lamar Odom.

"Yea I feel like he was treated unfairly for real… i remember when Lamar Odom was traded from the Lakers to Dallas.. he fell into depression.. and the same thing might be happening with AD," the fan commented.

"Poor AD. This trade really messed him up. I never followed AD before the trade but was he always made fun of or referred to glass man? Btw, I’m a Mavs fan that has accepted him since day 1. He didn’t choose to be on this team. I’m sure he wanted to stay a Laker," another fan said.

The Mavs star is averaging 20.8 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in five games this season.
