Victor Wembanyama is likely to play and lead the San Antonio Spurs' charge against the Toronto Raptors on Monday. The Spurs will play on the back end of a back-to-back, having extended their win streak to three games with a 118-107 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday.

San Antonio coach Mitch Johnson was asked about the French phenom's availability for Monday's game, and he remained optimistic about his superstar being active for the season's first back-to-back.

Victor Wembanyama himself dropped a major hint on his status for the Raptors games. The former No. 1 pick appeared for the post-game media duties on Sunday with his teammate Keldon Johnson. The duo was asked about the matchup with Toronto's big man, Sandro Mamukelashvili, who played for the Spurs until last season.

Wembanyama and Johnson were in high spirits after the team's third win. Wembanyama's response to the query on Mamukelashvili exuded the level of confidence that exists in the Spurs' locker room.

The 7-foot-4 superstar delivered another scintillating performance on Sunday. In 36 minutes, he recorded 31 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, three steals and six blocks, while shooting 9 of 21 from the floor, including 3 of 6 from beyond the arc.
