On Friday, the "Hot Girl Summer" singer appeared on the "Jennifer Hudson Show" to promote her new album "Lover Girl." During the show, the host asked Stallion, "what" in her life inspired the album. The rapper hinted at Thompson being the inspiration before adding how she had stopped being defensive in her life.

"I feel like, you know, right now I'm in such like a feminine era of my life, and I love it," Stallion said. "But, but I'm not saying I'm in a feminine era of my life because of a man. I'm saying because I've been through like so much...I feel like I was always on the defense for a long time...squaring up with everybody all the time."

Stallion added that she had become more secure in herself since she got into a relationship with Klay Thompson and had become more welcoming towards love.

"But like right now, I feel like, you know what, I am so sure of myself and I'm so relaxed. I am very much a soft girl. Like I am a woman. ...I'm just a little bit more calm and relaxed and more zen and more accepting of love.

"These are bots, these are paid people," she said, according to a post from @thedource. "You'll see a man tweeting about sports for eight years, and suddenly he just hates Megan Thee Stallion."

She urged her fans not to listen to them.

"Stop listening to them," she added. "I'll be in the house with my man, my dogs, watching anime, at the studio."
