Draymond Green hit back at Kevin O'Connor after the NBA Writer targeted the old core of the Golden State Warriors following Green's and Jimmy Butler's comments. After the loss to the OKC Thunder, Green alluded to "personal agenda," and Butler pressed for "sacrifice" for the good of the team.

On Wednesday, in a log message on Thread, O'Connor defended the young core of the Warriors and wrote that old players were the "problem." The sports writer particularly pointed out Butler and Green.

O'Connor said that Draymond Green had "declined" and Jimmy Butler had ceased to be his best version for a few years. O'Connor blamed the loss on Green and Butler.

However, Green didn't take much time and hit back at O'Connor with a brutal jab.

"Who said it was the young guys Kevin? I said WE!!" Green clarified. "One thing for certain, I don't mince words and you don't have to speak for me. That's what the Draymond Green show is for. I SPEAK FOR ME! ALWAYS!"
"And im certain i know far more about winning than you do. You couldn't win your intramural sports and thought it was a good idea to become an "NBA Writer"… and if you want to do some in-depth analysis and game breakdown I will also put you to shame at that."

After a 24-point loss against the OKC Thunder, Green addressed a reporter's question about players having a personal agenda. Green defended the narrative. However, he added that the team was always bigger than the individual players.

"I think everybody was committed to winning," Green said. "I think everyone has a personal agenda in this league, but you have to make the personal agenda work within the team confines. And if it doesn't work, then you kind of have to get rid of your agenda, or eventually, the agenda is the cause of someone getting rid of you."

In their game before the loss to the Thunder, the Warriors registered a blowout 31-point win over the Indiana Pacers. Although Steph Curry didn't play in the game with illness, they played like a different team. Perhaps Steve Kerr has a big chemistry issue to address.

Steph Curry echoes Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler's sentiments after Thunder loss

The Warriors' loss to the Thunder wasn't just on the scoreboard after the end of regulation. The Dubs had entered the fourth quarter with a 35-point deficit, which said a lot about the gap between the Warriors' hopes and reality.

After the game, Steph Curry also echoed comments from Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler, questioning the team's chemistry.

"I don't think the vibes are high. When you're not winning, you point at certain things we can do in a game, like sacrificing for a teammate, taking care of the rock like we did tonight," Curry said.

Jonathan Kuminga led the team with 13 points in 24 minutes. Steph Curry and Green had 11 and 3 points, respectively.
