Giannis Antetokounmpo's team made big plays in the first quarter; however, they were unable to establish a significant lead. The Greek Freak opened the first quarter with a dominating run, scoring 11 of Greece's 24 points.
The Lithuanian team was able to cut the lead to just one point before halftime, but a quick 3-pointer from Vassilis Toliopoulos and a turnaround jump shot from Antetokounmpo increased Greece's lead to six.
Both teams struggled to get going in the third quarter. Jonas Valanciunas launched Lithuania's attack in the third and cut the lead to 3 points with three free throws. Antetokounmpo quickly answered with a 2-point jump shot.

Greece dominated the third quarter, outscoring Lithuania 20-14 to take a 12-point lead into the final frame. With just over six minutes left in the game, Alexandros Samodurov extended Greece's lead to 16 points. Antetokounmpo led the Greeks in the fourth, adding seven more points to his tally.
Lithuania outscored Greece 24-23 in the fourth, but it wasn't enough as Greece advanced to the next round with an 87-76 win. They will face Turkey in the semifinals.
