The Golden State Warriors take on the New Orleans Pelicans at home on Saturday. On top of enduring a 1-4 record over the past five games, the Warriors have a bevy of injury concerns for this clash. Five players who are a prominent part of their rotation are on the list, headlined by Steph Curry and Jonathan Kuminga.

Curry is out for a week or slightly more with a quad contusion, which he sustained on Wednesday against the Rockets. He will miss his fifth game on Saturday. The Warriors are 1-3 in his absence.

Meanwhile, Kuminga could return after a seven-game absence. He dealt with bilateral knee patellar tendonitis during this stretch after sustaining a blow on Nov. 12 against the Spurs. Kuminga is questionable and will likely be a game-time decision. He could be leaning towards playing after practicing on Friday.

Gary Payton II is probable to play after enduring an ankle sprain in Wednesday's loss to the Rockets. He played five minutes before exiting that game. Payton will likely suit up Saturday.

Meanwhile, Al Horford will miss his third consecutive game due to right sciatic nerve irritation. He was reportedly out for at least a week. The former champion could return next game.

De'Anthony Melton will remain sidelined, too. He's been ramping up from an ACL surgery. Despite practicing on Wednesday, the Golden State Warriors' free agency acquisition won't make his season debut on Saturday against the Pelicans.
