All eyes will be on the Golden State Warriors' injury report ahead of their marquee clash against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, in particular, for Steph Curry and other veterans. Curry returned on Tuesday against the OKC Thunder after a three-game absence, citing illness.
He's played back-to-backs, but this health concern may rule him out against San Antonio. However, Curry sounded optimistic about playing on Wednesday.
"I'm trying to, yes," he told reporters after the game.

The Warriors lost 126-102 to the OKC Thunder, raising concerns about their trajectory in the regular season as they are 6-6 despite a 4-1 start. The sense of urgency could be another reason why Curry could be pushing himself to play every game over the next few weeks.
The same could apply to the other veteran stars, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green. The frontcourt duo wasn't on the injury report on Tuesday. After playing 22 minutes each in a blowout result, they are also expected to suit up against the Spurs.
Al Horford could also return after missing the game against OKC. The 2024 NBA champion isn't playing back-to-backs, so after sitting on Tuesday, he will likely play. The Warriors have been listing him on the injury reports with a toe injury amid these absences.
Meanwhile, Alex Toohey and De'Anthony Melton will remain sidelined for the Golden State Warriors. Neither has made a season debut as Toohey is dealing with a knee injury and Melton is ramping up after an ACL tear.
