Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors will contend without veteran center Al Horford on Tuesday. Horford, who is on a two-year, 11,654,250 contract, is sidelined owing to a toe injury. The one-time NBA champion will miss his third game of the season, having missed two consecutive contests last month.

The Warriors' game against the Suns is on the front side of another back-to-back. Horford won't play on consecutive nights this season, as the Warriors' management wants the ageing star to avoid the risk of any injury. The Golden State play on Wednesday night in Sacramento, where they should have Horford back against Domantas Sabonis.

Meanwhile, the Warriors will continue to play without De'Anthony Melton and Alex Toohey. Both players are recovering from knee injuries and have yet to make their season debut.

The Warriors enter the game against the Suns on the back of two deflating road defeats. Steph Curry and his men first lost against a Bucks team that played without Giannis Antetokounmpo before going down against an extremely shorthanded Pacers squad. The Warriors are currently eighth in the standings with a 4-3 record.
