Giannis Antetokounmpo suffered a black eye during the Milwaukee Bucks' 135-133 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. However, according to the Greek Freak, he sustained the injury while saving a lady from a robber. The former MVP narrated the hilarious fake story during the post-game interview after being asked how he sustained the black eye during the game."Actually, I was in Pick ‘n Save, right? So while I was checking out my groceries, there was this guy that was about to snatch a purse from a lady. So I was like 'Hey man, what are you doing? Stop.' So I went and grabbed him, and he kind of turned and elbowed me in the eye," Antetokounmpo expressed."But then I grabbed him, put him on the floor, took the purse, gave it to the lady, and then the lady was safe. I paid for her groceries, too, because she was in shock and stuff. You know the police came and took the guy. I don’t know, took him into custody. So after that, I just went back home, did some treatment and took a nap," he continued. While Antetokounmpo’s heroic tale made for a funny explanation, the real cause of the black eye came during a physical matchup against the Kings. The Bucks star was knocked to the floor several times and even engaged in a brief tug-of-war with Russell Westbrook for possession. However, Antetokounmpo dished out his own share of physicality, including a vicious block on Domantas Sabonis. While the game was an intense affair, the Greek international was unable to get the win, despite dropping a 26-point double-double.Giannis Antetokounmpo claims the Kings had more "desperation" in the Bucks' second loss of the seasonThe Milwaukee Bucks suffered their second loss of the season in an intense game against the Sacramento Kings. The Bucks were looking to earn their third win in a row, but came up short in a 135-133 loss.Milwaukee, however, wasn't at its best during the game, as Giannis Antetokounmpo claimed the Kings were more desperate for the win."Yeah, I think they had a level of desperation more than us. Obviously, I think they played Chicago on Wednesday. They came up short, so we knew they would prepare," Giannis expressed. "Before the game, we talked about how they were going to play hard, try to stay in the game, make shots, be aggressive, and just mark up the game to make it tough for us."The Bucks will look to get back on track against the Indiana Pacers in their next game as they hit the road for a two-game away trip.
