A big storm is being feared in Milwaukee after Giannis Antetokounmpo's latest social media activity. The Milwaukee Bucks superstar has deleted all of his social media activity related to the Bucks since 2021.

Antetokounmpo's action has prompted massive trade speculation. In light of the Greek Freak's offseason comments about giving primacy to winning a championship and his interest in joining the New York Knicks, the move indicates he is unhappy in Milwaukee.

The Bucks' 2025-26 season was expected to impact Giannis Antetokounmpo's decision about his future. The front office tried to address its roster issues by signing Miles Turner. The Bucks also signed Antetokounmpo's brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, for a one-year deal.

However, in light of the Bucks' performance this season, they might be on the verge of losing their superstar player. They are 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 9-13 record. Moreover, in the absence of a second star besides him, Antetokounmpo has to do even more on both ends.

Despite Giannis' MVP numbers, the Bucks have lost three of their last four games. Their last loss came against the Washington Wizards, the team with the worst record in the Eastern Conference. Perhaps losing to the Wizards, the worst team in the same conference, triggered Antetokounmpo's frustration.

Khris Middleton suggests Giannis Antetokounmpo's pressure on Bucks also had downside

In February, Milwaukee traded Khris Middleton to the Wizards and got back Kyle Kuzma in the deal. Middleton saw a lot of success with Giannis Antetokounmpo, winning a championship together in 2021.

The former Bucks player said that Antetokounmpo put pressure on the Bucks.

"Giannis is gonna do what he’s gonna do, and I'm gonna do what I gotta do for my contract situation also," Middleton said.
"Giannis put a lot of pressure on the organization, but we all want to win. At times, we just don't know what type of consequences that can have, good or bad.

"But you gotta respect him. Giannis has to do what’s best for himself and his career."

While the Bucks are expected to do everything in their power to keep their superstar as they have in the past, the Greek Freak might be on the move sooner or later. An Antetokounmpo trade would massively shake the power equation in the league.
