Young asserted that he's tired of the criticism aimed at Reaves. He called out his critics for being hypocritical about the former Oklahoma Sooner.

"I'm not going to let you talk about AR (Austin Reaves) like that," Young said. "Because I heard that s*** from you all my life. It's always big shots. You always up like this or you down like that. AR is doing what AR does because everybody allowed him to do that."

"You can't be happy one day when the shots going in and then mad the next day when they're not," the former Lakers guard added. "I'm not going to let you disrespect my corners like that. … Bad shot maker. I hated that s***."

Lakers coach JJ Redick not bothered about Austin Reaves' recent struggles

Coach JJ Redick said after the loss to the San Antonio Spurs that he's not bothered by Austin Reaves' struggles. He reminded his critics of his role during the absence of LeBron James and Luka Doncic.

“The guys carried us for six weeks, and that takes a toll on you. He kept fighting, and I appreciate that. He’s gonna have a lot more great nights than frustrating nights,” Redick said.
