This week, rumors of a Giannis Antetokounmpo trade have picked up again as the Greek Freak deleted several Bucks-related posts from his social media accounts. On Wednesday, ESPN's Shams Charania reported that Antetokounmpo was having conversations with his agent, Alex Saratsis, regarding his future, which could include a move to a different team.

While the NBA community has been buzzing about possible landing spots for the two-time MVP, Golden State Warriors star and podcaster Draymond Green pointed out a potential roadblock to an Antetokounmpo deal coming to fruition.

"It's not the easiest to trade someone that makes $50 million, because in most cases, you usually have to deplete your whole team just to even make the salaries work," Green said on an episode of "The Draymond Green Show." [Timestamp - 17:11]

As per Spotrac, Antetokounmpo is set to make $54.1 million this season. To Green's point, it may be challenging for the Bucks to find a trade partner willing to deal assets that can match Antetokounmpo's value. The Warriors star added that Milwaukee may have to find a third or even fourth team to complete such a deal.

Green, however, expressed confidence that the Bucks organization will facilitate Antetokounmpo's move to a team he prefers.

The writing may be on the wall for Antetokounmpo's stint with the Bucks, but there's no telling whether GM Jon Horst will see eye to eye with the former Finals MVP when it comes to his landing spot.

Giannis Antetokounmpo trade: Another roadblock emerges as Greek Freak sidelined for 2-4 weeks

Another reason Antetokounmpo is in the spotlight is the lower-body injury he sustained in the opening minutes of Wednesday's Bucks-Pistons matchup.

Antetokounmpo was ruled out for the rest of the game, and a day later, Shams Charania reported that the Bucks superstar will be sidelined for two to four weeks due to a right calf strain.

This injury will certainly weigh on the minds of both the Bucks organization and potential trade partners. In any case, all parties involved have about two months to go before the trade deadline this season.
