Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green expressed his excitement for the Michigan State Spartans' win against the North Carolina Tar Heels on Thursday. The Spartans defeated the Tar Heels 74-58 with guard Jeremy Fears Jr. leading the charge. He finished with 19 points and seven assists, shooting 8-for-10.Meanwhile, Caleb Wilson led the way for the Tar Heels, finishing with 18 points and seven rebounds. This marks the first time that Michigan has started its season with such a record since 2015-16.The team has relied on Jaxon Kohle, who is averaging 14.6 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. Fears Jr. has also been key, recording 12.0 points, 9.7 assists and 3.9 rebounds.Draymond Green spent four seasons playing college basketball for Michigan State. He played 145 games, averaging 10.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists. I said, we are f****** individually awful.”While the team continues to struggle, Green's performance has been in line with expectations. The four-time champion is averaging 8.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.Green and Co. will return to action on Saturday when they face the New Orleans Pelicans.
