The Dallas Mavericks have listed six players on their injury report for Wednesday's home contest against the Miami Heat. Surprisingly, Anthony Davis isn't one of the names included. The 10-time All-Star missed 15 games due to a calf injury and sustained a finger injury in Monday's win over the Denver Nuggets. But he's not on the report for either ailment, which is a welcome sight for Dallas.
On the other hand, P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford are still on the injury report, but are potentially inching closer to their returns. Washington hasn't played since Friday's loss at the LA Lakers.
Before Saturday's contest against the LA Clippers, he landed on a ball and sprained his ankle, missing the last two games for Dallas. He is questionable to play against Miami.
Gafford has the same status. The veteran center has also missed the last two games, citing right ankle injury management. The duo will be game-time decisions for Wednesday's matchup.

Meanwhile, Dereck Lively II remains sidelined despite earlier reports suggesting he could have returned against the Miami Heat. Lively will miss his sixth straight game and 16th overall due to a right foot injury.
Cooper Flagg has also appeared on the injury report, but is listed as 'available.' He's been dealing with a right thumb injury since Nov. 8, but hasn't missed a game because of it.
Kyrie Irving and Dante Exum round out the Dallas Mavericks' injury report. Irving continues his recovery from an ACL surgery, while Exum is out for the season with a knee injury.
