The Dallas Mavericks and Portland Trail Blazers cross swords in a regular-season game on Sunday. Ahead of the contest, the Mavericks listed six players on the injury report, including Anthony Davis and Cooper Flagg. Davis’ status took a significant downturn, as he was downgraded from "questionable" in previous games to "doubtful" this time around.

The former Lakers superstar is likely to miss his ninth consecutive game on Sunday. Davis is recovering from a left calf strain, an injury he sustained on October 29 against the Indiana Pacers. The former No. 1 pick has shown progress and even begun on-court practice, but it remains to be seen when he makes his highly anticipated comeback.

Meanwhile, Cooper Flagg has been playing with his right thumb taped after suffering a sprain, but there’s good news for Dallas. The star rookie has been cleared to suit up against the Blazers despite the lingering issue.

P.J. Washington missed the previous game owing to a left shoulder injury. The veteran forward is expected to make his comeback and is listed as "probable" on the injury report.

The Mavericks will be without Ryan Nembhard, Kyrie Irving and Dante Exum. Nembhard is out with a left knee sprain, Irving is undergoing rehabilitation after the ACL injury last season and Exum is sidelined with a right knee injury.

The Dallas Mavericks are tied with the Sacramento Kings for the second-worst (3-10) record in the West. Jason Kidd's men have dropped seven of their nine home games.
