Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks visited Brooklyn on Friday for a game against the revitalized Nets. He scored the Mavs' next six points, the last two coming off a rim-rattling dunk, to give his team the lead. Flagg finished the first quarter with 12 points on 6-for-8 shooting, although Brooklyn regained the lead, 33-32, after the first 12 minutes ended.Flagg wasn't as explosive in scoring in the second quarter. He added six more points and also impacted the game on the defensive end. The rookie led the game in net rating with a plus-13.
