Cooper Flagg led the Dallas Mavericks' charge against Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center on Monday. Flagg was in the starting lineup alongside Moussa Cisse, Max Christie, Brandon Williams and P.J. Washington. The rookie sensation entered the game high on confidence after a stellar performance against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.

Flagg enjoyed an efficient shooting night against the Timberwolves, but finished with the worst rating among players who saw playing time. The Mavericks suffered another humiliating 120-96 loss.

In the end, Cooper Flagg finished with 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc, and 1-of-2 from the free-throw line. He also recorded one rebound and two assists in 27 minutes. The rookie committed one turnover and registered a plus/minus rating of -27.

Cooper Flagg highlights vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (Nov. 17)

Flagg wasted no time in opening his account in the scorer's column, quickly getting off the mark with a bucket from inside the arc. The former Duke phenom missed his second shot from the floor as the Mavericks fell into a 34-21 hole after the first quarter.

The Mavericks forward knocked down his first 3-pointer of the night in the second quarter. He missed one of his two attempts in the period, while making one of two free throws.

At halftime, Cooper Flagg had six points on 2-of-4 shooting, including 1-of-1 from 3-point range, along with one rebound in 16 minutes.

Flagg was efficient in the third quarter, but his efforts made no difference. The Timberwolves blew the game open and surged ahead by winning the penultimate period by a 37-22 margin. Flagg knocked down all three attempts from the floor and pushed his tally to 13 points.

Flagg didn't play big minutes in the final period as the Mavericks' loss was sealed. He attempted two shots in the fourth quarter and made one.
