As many as 11 players could be absent from the Chicago Bulls, who have been hit by a wave of injuries ahead of their clash with the Brooklyn Nets. It’s been another rough start to a season for the Bulls. After starting the season with five straight wins, they've meandered around the .500 mark since. Chicago has been great at home (6-2), but their road record (3-9) has been woeful.

They suffered their season’s second fourth consecutive defeat on the road with a 125-120 loss against the Orlando Magic on Monday. Now the Bulls are back home for five of their next six games, starting with the Nets on Wednesday.

However, coach Billy Donovan is once again expected to be without a number of key players as injury woes start to plague the United center. Kevin Huerter, Coby White, Isaac Okoro and Noa Essengue all unavailable.

Huerter exited early in the Bulls’ Monday game due to an adductor injury. The knock could see the guard sidelined for some time. Meanwhile, White will miss a third straight game due to a calf injury. Okoro, still nursing his lower-back injury, will miss a sixth straight game. Rookie Essengue is expected to miss his fourth straight game with a shoulder contusion suffered in the G League stint.

Zach Collins is listed as questionable. His return date remains uncertain due to a reported wrist problem for which he underwent surgery. He has yet to make his season debut. Jalen Smith, who missed the past two games, will be assessed ahead of time as he’s listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. Dalen Terry has not featured since Nov. 22 due to a calf problem. He was recalled on Tuesday after being sent to the G League. He is also listed as questionable.

Lachlan Olbrich (calf), Julian Philips (illness), Tre Jones (ankle) and Patrick Williams (wrist) are listed as probable, trending toward playing unless they are downgraded before tipoff.
