Azzi Fudd’s NIL deal with SC30 Inc. in December 2021 was described as involving not only sponsorship but also personal mentorship from Curry. It also included services to help the UConn star build her own brand, her AZ35 concept, alongside the partnership.
“It’s an honor to be the first player to be partnered with Curry Brand,” Fudd told Boardroom. “To not only be the first person but the first female, that meant a lot to me.”
Curry and Under Armour’s breakup, which was announced on Tuesday, will see the Curry Brand become independent. This has led to rumors about where Azzi Fudd and other stars associated with the Curry Brand stand. However, according to “Sole Retriever”, all Curry Brand athletes remain under contract with Under Armour.
Although the Golden State Warriors star will see his brand go independent, Under Armour will still release the Curry 13. That will be the final Curry Brand x Under Armour shoe, with February 2026 projected as its release date.
