Fans couldn’t resist mentioning Bronny James after a clip of Jack Moynahan, son of NFL icon Tom Brady, showcasing his basketball skills went viral in a video shared by Overtime.

Moynahan, a 6-foot-6 forward for Riverdale School, displayed his scoring ability in the paint along with some defensive highlights, even swatting away shots.

As he showed off his versatile skill set, fans drew comparisons to Bronny James, son of NBA superstar LeBron James.

“Already better than bronny,” one fan said.

Some fans also likened Moynahan’s style of play to legends from previous generations, including George Mikan, Bob Cousy and Toni Kukoc.

According to a scouting report from Riverside Select, Moynahan has emerged as a highly coveted prospect. The report highlighted his growth, noting his improved court vision as a passer, smarter cuts, and better understanding of spacing.

“He also has leadership in his DNA and we heard him oftentimes leading huddles for our team in July, motivating and holding guys accountable,” it added.

It also noted that the NFL legend’s son has shot well from the perimeter throughout the season, and with his improved ability to attack off the dribble into pull-ups or turnaround moves in the post, he has become a dynamic offensive threat while continuing to make sound reads.

At the Fanatics Fest panel in June, Tom Brady openly praised LeBron James, applauding his excellence despite constant scrutiny.
