NXT (2021–2024)

WWE announced in February 2021 that Rechsteiner had agreed to a developmental contract. He was given a training assignment at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, later that month. On September 14, 2021, NXT program, Rechsteiner made his WWE debut as Bron Breakker and defeated LA Knight.

Breakker won the NXT Championship by submission against Ciampa at NXT New Year's Evil on January 4, 2022. He defeated Santos Escobar on February 15 at NXT Vengeance Day to successfully defend the title for the first time. On the March 7 episode of Raw, Breakker made his main roster debut by working with Ciampa to win a tag match against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.

The next day, in a triple threat match at NXT Roadblock, Breakker defended the NXT Championship against Ciampa and Ziggler. Ziggler pinned Ciampa, ending Breakker's first reign at 63 days. Breakker inducted his father and uncle into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 1. Roode's meddling prevented Breakker from winning the title back from Ziggler the next evening at NXT Stand & Deliver.

Breakker won the championship after defeating Zayn in a rematch at SummerSlam the following month. Breakker's reign ended at 181 days when he lost the title to Dominik Mysterio on Night 2 of WrestleMania 41 in a deadly four-way match that also included Penta and Finn Bálor, whom Mysterio pinned.

In the Raw program from April 21, 2025, Breakker sided with Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins and assaulted Roman Reigns and CM Punk. After Bronson Reed interfered, Breakker and Rollins defeated Punk and Sami Zayn in Saturday Night's Main Event XXXIX in May 2025. Reed would later join their alliance. Rollins was banished from The Vision after Breakker and Reed betrayed him on the October 13 Raw program.
