WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk recently talked about hanging up his wrestling boots. The Second City Saint also discussed what he thinks about his career up until now.
CM Punk is one of the greatest names to ever step inside the squared circle. The Best in the World has been at the top of his game for decades and is still going strong as the current World Heavyweight Champion in World Wrestling Entertainment.
Since returning to the Stamford-based promotion in 2023, Punk has been putting on some of his best performances inside the ring. Fans believe he can still go toe-to-toe with younger talents for years to come. However, The Straight Edge Superstar has recently dropped a huge retirement bombshell.
During his recent interview on WWE's YouTube, CM Punk broke down his looks throughout the years in the company. At the end of the video, The Second City Saint said that it was "humbling" to look back at his career before mentioning that he was not done with wrestling yet.

However, he then dropped a bombshell, saying that the road to the end of his career was "a lot shorter" than when he started performing. He also mentioned that he didn't know how long he would continue to compete in the ring.
"I mean, it's humbling, sobering maybe, to look back, you know, because I'm not done, but I definitely think the road to the end is a lot shorter than the road from here to when I started is, you know. I don't know how long I've got left, but looking back, I can definitely say like I had a good career, you know, I'm one of one," he said.
