Two-time major champion Scottie Scheffler is the world No. 1 golfer as of August 2024 and has held the position for more than 100 weeks (not a consecutive run). During his amateur career, he won five titles, including the 2013 U.S. Junior Amateur, after which he went to the University of Texas at Austin and graduated in 2018. Scottie Scheffler's Hometown

Scottie Scheffler lives in Dallas, Texas, in the United States, with his wife Meredith and son Bennett. He spent $2.1 million for the fairly priced property he lives in, as reported by the New York Post. After getting married to Meredith in 2020, he purchased it. Zillow values the about 5,000-square-foot house, which has five bedrooms and six bathrooms, at more than $3 million as of late.

Scheffler's parents, Scott and Diane, originally lived in Ridgewood, New Jersey, where Scottie was born; however, in the wake of the 9/11 attacks in 2001, the family moved to Dallas, Texas, by 2002, when Scottie was six years old. Scottie told Golf Digest in 2022 that moving to Dallas "was pretty uncomfortable for my parents. Basically uprooted their whole lives, everything they knew, to come here, where they didn’t really know anybody besides my mom’s boss."

However, things improved with time, and Scottie and Meredith met as freshmen at Dallas, Texas' Highland Park High School. They made the decision to get married in December 2020 after dating for a while. The couple's first child, a son named Bennett, was born in May 2024. “Dallas became home pretty quickly for us as kids, and I couldn’t really imagine living anywhere else. All her family pretty much lives here. All my family pretty much lives here. So, Dallas is home for us.”

Meredith attended Texas A&M University, where she majored in communication and received her bachelor's degree in 2018. As of July 2024, Meredith manages events in addition to being the director of Behind Every Door, a nonprofit that provides young people in Dallas's impoverished communities with sports, educational, and artistic initiatives.
