Seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton was eliminated in Q1 once again at the season finale in Abu Dhabi after disappointments at the last two race weekends. Fans took to the social media platform X and reacted to the Ferrari star's poor qualifying performance.
Lewis Hamilton has failed to make Q3 since the Brazilian GP. He qualified dead last at the Las Vegas GP in wet qualifying conditions, but failed to make it out of Q1 again at the Qatar GP, with Yas Marina being his third consecutive Q1 exit.
Hamilton became the first Ferrari driver in the history of F1 to get eliminated three times consecutively in Q1. The Briton had a troublesome start to the season finale at Abu Dhabi in the practice, and had a major crash in the final practice session after losing the car going into Turn 9, and the SF25 had to be rebuilt going into qualifying.
Lewis Hamilton did relatively well in his first few laps at the Q1 session in Abu Dhabi, but failed to make any significant improvements in the final laps. He failed to make Q2 by 0.008 seconds and will start the race in P16.

Lewis Hamilton’s team radio after the FP3 crash and the qualifying exit at Abu Dhabi
The rear of Lewis Hamilton's SF25 bottomed out in FP3 before the massive crash into the barriers. The Briton was devastated, and detailed what could've been the reason behind the snap, and his losing control of the car.
“Yeah, something buckled at the front and snapped at the rear.”
Hamilton's race engineer Ricciardo Adami asked if he was okay. The former responded:
"Yeah… Sorry. Ahhhh”
Lewis Hamilton came out in the previous races and complained about Ferrari's tire warm up strategy. The seven-time F1 champion currently sits P6 in the championship with Kimi Antonelli just a few points behind him. Given Mercedes' pace, Antonelli could very well surpass Hamilton in the points table following the Abu Dhabi GP.
