Ferrari has not brought major upgrades to the SF-25 since the rear suspension upgrade in Belgium, but Lewis Hamilton has revealed one key area due to which the Scuderia is on a better run of results. The prancing horses bagged consecutive podiums for the first time since the Spanish GP earlier in the year.
While Hamilton has not scored a podium in the Grand Prix format this year, Leclerc has dragged the SF-25 to multiple times on the rostrum so far. Moreover, the Monegasque scored a runner-up finish last time out in Mexico, his second such result this year.
These results have helped Ferrari to regain second position in the constructors' standings, despite not bringing any crucial upgrades to the 2025 challenger since Belgium. This had left the paddock wondering for answers about what had led to the team's sudden surge in performances.
This question was answered by Hamilton's post-race quotes, who revealed that the team had been nailing its preparation operationally, as he said (via PlanetF1):
"We’ve not really moved the car forward necessarily in development, but we’ve extracted more from it. Our process is better this weekend, and that’s what you’re seeing. So, grazie a tutti."
"We continue to improve on our process — from the moment we arrive, to our debriefs, to the decisions we make as a team within engineering, within when we going out — all these different things."
After the Mexican GP, the paddock will move to Brazil for the next race on the F1 calendar.
Lewis Hamilton is keen to have a strong weekend in Brazil

Lewis Hamilton has won three races at the Sau Paulo track. The 2025 edition of the race would be the first time that the Briton would be donning the scarlet red of Ferrari in front of the Brazilian crowd.
So, after having a dismal race in Mexico where he finished eighth, Hamilton revealed that he is looking on for the race in Brazil and to possibly have a better weekend in South America (via Ferrari):
"I had a strong start, but things changed with a few decisions that were beyond my control and it just wasn’t possible to recover the race after that... Overall though, the car has felt good all weekend and I’m grateful for the progress we’ve made as a team. I’m looking forward to Brazil - it’s one of my favourite places to race and I can’t wait to be there in red for the first time."
Lewis Hamilton has amassed 146 points in the 20 race weekends held so far. With four race weekends still left in the calendar, he would like to boost this tally in the upcoming races.
