Following Gabriel Bortoleto's crash at the Brazil GP in Sao Paulo, clips of him hugging his family went viral on social media. An inconsolable Bortoleto, who had a race weekend to forget at his home turf, received consolation from his family as he suffered DNF at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace.Bortoleto started the Brazil GP with P14 in the Sprint qualifying on Friday, and then went on to finish it in P18 after experiencing a massive crash nearing the end of the sprint. As a result, he failed to take part in the qualifying later that day.After starting the race from P18, Bortoleto suffered yet another crash in the race in the very first lap. As a consequence, his day and his journey on his home race came to an end.As Bortoleto walked to the paddock after the race, he was joined by his family, who came to console him following a tumultuous race weekend. It was a first-lap racing incident, and these things can happen, that's racing," he further added.
