After Ferrari president John Elkann claimed that their drivers need to "talk less," Charles Leclerc's social media post about the Italian team has gone viral. The 28-year-old has claimed that the team needs to stay united if they want to turn things around in the remainder of the 2025 F1 season.

John Elkann's statement has made waves on social media, especially among Ferrari fans, most of whom have been left baffled by what the American-Italian has said. Comparing their F1 outfit to their WEC team, Elkann has claimed that the team must work together to achieve success and that the drivers must "concentrate on driving" and "talk less."

After this statement, Charles Leclerc shared a social media post that garnered more than 900,000 likes and 3,300 comments in 15 hours. In the post, the Monegasque driver reflected on Ferrari's difficult weekend in Brazil before adding that the team must stay united. He also included a picture of himself hugging team boss Fred Vasseur in the post.

"A very difficult weekend in São Paulo. Disappointing to come back home with nearly no points at all for the team in what is a critical moment of the season to fight for the 2nd place in the constructors championship. It’s uphill from now and it’s clear that only unity can help us turn that situation around in the last 3 races. We’ll give it all, as always ❤️," he wrote.

Charles Leclerc was unlucky to miss out on a potential podium at the Brazilian GP after becoming collateral damage in an early incident involving Oscar Piastri and Kimi Antonelli.

When the race restarted after a safety car on Lap 6, Piastri tried to dive inside Antonelli at Turn 1 but locked up and clipped the Mercedes’ sidepod. The contact sent Antonelli into Leclerc, who was on the outside, forcing the Ferrari driver to retire.

Hamilton took to Instagram to share his message, thanking fans in Brazil for supporting him even after a poor weekend. He then added an assertive remark about not giving up.

"Brazil, thank you for all the love, always. In the end, it wasn’t the race we wanted. It’s gutting, especially after some good progress, but we will move on. I back my team. I back myself. I will not give up. Not now, not then, not ever," wrote Hamilton.

While John Elkann did not single out any of the drivers in his statement, reports suggest his comments may have been directed more toward Lewis Hamilton.
