Day 2 (Tuesday, October 28) of the Paris Masters 2025 will feature a mix of first and second-round matches. Alexander Bublik and Andrey Rublev were among the prominent names to win on the first day, moving past their respective opponents in straight sets.
American teen Learner Tien also commenced his campaign with a win, along with former top 10 player Cameron Norrie. As more players aim to join them in the second round, here are the predictions for all the singles matches lined up on Day 2 of the Paris Masters 2025:
#1. Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Francisco Comesana
Auger-Aliassime had a strong start to the season, winning two titles from three finals. His results took a turn for the worse after that, with his slump lasting for quite some time. However, things are looking up for him once again. He has made at least the quarterfinals of every tournament he has competed in since the Cincinnati Open.
Auger-Aliassime recently captured his third title of the season at the European Open. His unbeaten run came to an end in the quarterfinals of last week's Swiss Indoors, retiring from his match against Jaume Munar. He has a 43-21 record for the season, with a 34-12 record on hardcourts.
Comesana booked his place in the main draw of the Paris Masters with wins over Luca Van Assche and David Goffin. While he has a 19-22 record this season, he has gone 7-10 on hardcourts. His performance on hardcourts pales in comparison to Auger-Aliassime's results on the surface, thus making the latter the favorite to win this contest.
Predicted winner: Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets.
#2. Daniil Medvedev vs Jaume Munar

Munar continued his career-best season with a semifinal showing at the Swiss Indoors, going down to eventual champion Joao Fonseca. He has a 30-24 record this year. He reached the fourth round of the US Open as well as at two Masters 1000 tournaments.
Medvedev had a successful Asian swing, which culminated in his triumph at the Almaty Open. He then lost to Corentin Moutet in the second round of the Erste Bank Open, bringing his record for the season to 39-22.
Munar leads their rivalry 1-0, scoring an upset win over Medvedev at the Miami Open 2025. The Russian won the Paris Masters in 2020. He lost to Novak Djokovic in the final in 2021, and hasn't won a match here since then. Munar's form makes him a tricky opponent, though Medvedev should be able to turn the tables on the Spaniard this time.
Predicted winner: Daniil Medvedev in three sets.
#3. Corentin Moutet vs Reilly Opelka
Predicted winner: Corentin Moutet in straight sets.
#4. Joao Fonseca vs Denis Shapovalov
Predicted winner: Joao Fonseca in three sets.

#6. Tallon Griekspoor vs Gabriel Diallo
Predicted winner: Gabriel Diallo in straight sets.
#7. Jiri Lehecka vs Valentin Vacherot
Predicted winner: Jiri Lehecka in three sets.
#8. Tomas Martin Etcheverry vs Camilo Ugo Carabelli
Predicted winner: Tomas Martin Etcheverry in straight sets.
#9. Carlos Alcaraz vs Cameron Norrie
