Well Armed Field Research and Timed Research: Pokemon GO tasks and rewards

The Well Armed event provides Pokemon GO trainers with free Field Research and paid Timed Research quests to complete. Rewards for the former include Pokemon encounters and TMs while the latter provides Max Particles and Rare Candies.

The Well Armed event runs in Pokemon GO from Thursday, December 11, at 10 am local time and to Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 8 pm local time. Clobbopus and Grapploct make their debut in GO in this event. You will also have a better chance to come across a Shinyy Dynamax Hitmonlee and Shiny Dynamax Hitmonchan during Well Armed.

The tasks and rewards are:

Well Armed Premium Timed Research - Step 1 of 1

• Catch 15 Fighting-type Pokemon - 800x Max Particle
• Win a Max Battle - 3x Rare Candy
• Power up Pokemon 3 times - 3x Rare Candy
• Power up Pokemon 6 times - 1x Rare Candy XL
• Power up Pokemon 10 times - 2x Rare Candy XL
• Rewards: 800x Max Particles, 1x Fast TM, 1x Charged TM

How to complete Well Armed Field Research in Pokemon GO

The tasks and rewards are:

• Catch 10 Fighting-type Pokemon - 1x Fast TM or 1x Charged TM
• Power up Pokemon 5 times - Ralts encounter [shiny variant possible], Tepig encounter [shiny variant possible], or Timburr encounter [shiny variant possible]
• Power up Pokemon 10 times - Clobbopus encounter
• Win a Max Battle - Clobbopus encounter
• Win 3 Max Battles - Dynamax Hitmonlee encounter [shiny variant possible] or Dynamax Hitmonchan encounter [shiny variant possible]
