The next Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour event is set for December 2, 2025, from 6 pm local time to 7 pm local time. Cranidos is the featured Pokemon and will enjoy an increased spawn rate in the wild for the duration. The event bonus for this Spotlight Hour is 2x Transfer Candy.

While Spotlight Hour events are weekly appearances, trainers should ideally prepare for them beforehand to ensure they make the most of them.

Keep enough amount of Poke Balls handy so that you don't run out of them during the Spotlight Hour and can catch multiple pocket monsters at peace.
Running out of Storage Space during the Spotlight Hour can quickly become a headache. It's best to ensure there are enough spots to catch several of the featured Pokemon.
In-game resources like Lucky Eggs (temporarily boosts XP earned), Star Pieces (temporarily boosts Stardust earned), and Incense (temporarily boosts wild spawn rate) can significantly improve your returns from participating in the event.
