The Pokemon GO December Community Day 2025 will take place over two days. Day 1 is on Saturday, December 6, and Day 2 is on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Different Pokemon will be featured on both days of the event, and trainers who will be able to participate in only one might be wondering which one to choose.

If you can focus on gameplay on only one day, you should choose to play on Sunday during the Pokemon GO December Community Day 2025. This article explains why.

Here are the featured Pocket Monsters during the Pokemon GO December Community Day 2025 day:

Saturday, December 6

  • Sprigatito
  • Fuecoco
  • Pawmi

Sunday, December 7

  • Solosis
  • Red Flower Flabébé in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
  • Blue Flower Flabébé in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Yellow Flower Flabébé in the Americas
  • Pikipek
  • Jangmo-o
  • Rookidee
  • Quaxly

Community Days are important events for PvP enthusiasts, as they can catch and evolve creatures that can help them climb the GO Battle League ladder. Based on the performance of the featured creatures on either day of the event, Sunday is more profitable.

Barring Solosis and Quaxly (whose CD moves don't help improve their performance in Pokemon GO PvP), the other creatures are tremendously improved by their featured attacks from the December 2025 Community Day.

Florges (Flabebe's final evolution) gets Chilling Water, which is useful in all three main formats. Corviknight (Rookidee's final evolution) and Toucannon (Pikipek's final evolutions) learn Air Cutter and Beak Blast, boosting their usability in the Great and Ultra Leagues. Lastly, Kommo-o (Jangmo-o's final evolution) with Clanging Scales can really shake things up as an anti-meta pick in all formats.

On the contrary, none of Saturday's features have anything of value to offer to PvP and PvE enthusiasts. So unless you want to shiny hunt one of them, you are better off playing on Sunday.
