The next pack, Pokemon TCG Pocket Crimson Blaze, is set to expand the title's roster. The newly confirmed B1a pack will function as the mini expansion for Series B1. While the previous B1 pack introduced Mega Evolution cards in the game, this follow-up booster continues that theme by introducing the Mega-evolved Kanto starters.

Crimson Blaze is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 6 am UTC (December 16 at 10 pm PST). The centerpiece of the set is Mega Charizard Y ex, being the pack’s face. Along with its debut, Mega Venusaur ex and Mega Blastoise ex are coming to the game as well, each having the title’s signature illustrations.
Beyond the headliner trio, several card-fillers have been revealed in the pack’s lineup. Solosis, Sunflora, and a new Ditto variant are in this pack as well, each with new designs and movesets.
A handful of Trainer cards will also accompany the release, including Clemont, Serena, and Quick-Grow Extract, each contributing Lightning- and Grass-types and Mega ex cards.

Pokemon TCG Pocket Crimson Blaze B1a: New covers and backdrops

In another announcement, the developers confirmed that players will soon be able to customize their in-game displays with a set of new covers and backdrops highlighting Mega Charizard Y.
These customization items will be available starting Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 10 pm PST, giving players another way to showcase their growing collections.
